(Disclaimer: Hi everyone, you might have noticed the title and thought I was revisiting the topic of my international travels. However, there's a unique reason for this particular blog post. During this month-long journey, I ventured alone and explored four incredible countries in Europe: the UK, Denmark, Sweden, and Germany. Initially, I considered writing about my ongoing research, but I hesitated, feeling it might not be the most captivating starting point. However, everything changed when I chanced upon Prateek's webpage and came across his enthralling blog detailing his first international trip. Inspired by Prateek's words and with the unwavering support and motivation from my friend Pranjal, I finally found the drive to start my own blog๐Ÿ˜ ) It was December 2022 when I received an email to attend the 7th Workshop on Algebraic Complexity Theory held at the University of Warwick, UK. The most fabulous thing was that this trip was fully funded. One of the advantages of being involved in academia is the occasional opportunity to enjoy fully funded trips, which can be quite a delightful perk๐Ÿ˜Š The excitement was palpable as I eagerly planned for my first-ever international trip. The workshop
